San Francisco has focused on its public transit and pedestrian-focused projects over the last few years. It’s also nice to see a new downtown store open without the need for constructing a new parking lot. The construction of parking spaces for residential properties is starting to wane, as is the number of families who own two cars. Other cities making the list: New York City, Boston, and Washington D.C., who placed second, third, and fourth, respectively. Oakland came in tenth place.
